The ID7 main event takes place on August 20th at a new hidden gem in the heart of Rivertown. An amazing warehouse located stones throw from the ICC at 130 Stalwart Simelane Street.

Doors will open at 6pm on the night with tickets available at the door fo R50. We will have Food and a full Bar on site. Zapper and Cash will be accepted.

This is a proudly for Durban and by Durban event featuring local acts, celebrating local art and enjoying local food so make sure to follow the conversation with the official hashtags #ID7 and #DBN4DBN.

ID7 has made a free shuttle service available to its patrons come the night of the event. The shuttle begins its route from 5:30pm on the night. The 4 pick up points are outside the KZNSA on Bulwer Road in Glenwood, The Cube on Innes road in Morningside and a drive past the ICC to pick up guests from the parking lot where patrons can tuck their cars away nice and safe. The Shuttle will depart KZNSA on the hour every hour and arrive some 15/20 min later at The Cube where it will stop before heading the ICC and ultimately Beerhall. The shuttle will be on a loop for the duration of the event with the last shuttle scheduled to depart the ID7 venue at 2:00am. There will be car-guards stationed at both drop off points to ensure safety of the cars left behind so you can relax knowing that all is well.  Please note the shuttle will run on a 1st come 1st served basis and once it is full it will go directly to the venue. Being a free service the organisers cannot guarantee availability at every stop. But hey… its free!

Alongside the exhibition and live art ID7 will also play host to some of Durban’s most impressive musical acts in the form of Easy Freak, Josh Wantie, Amahlambezi, Costa Besta, Rude Boyz and Raheem Kemet. For those of you not regular to Durban’s music scene, suffice to say these are the kinds of acts you always wished your city would produce and just didn’t realize it already did.

This year we have also partnered with New Age Ink Art Festival and we will be showcasing some of the amazing talent coming out of that great initiative in the INKFEst Gallery space. This is definitely going to be one of those parties where you find your new favorite act, so miss it, and miss out.
